All our public tours start and end on 52nd St & 7th Avenue
We advise you to arrive at least 15 – 20 minutes before your scheduled departure time to ensure your reservation is honored. You have up to ten (10) minutes before the scheduled departure time to ensure your seat on the tour. Ten (10) minutes before the departure time, we note outstanding reservations as “no-shows.” If we have walk-up passengers, they will be given a ticket and will be boarded at this time.
We accommodate various group sizes with our diverse fleet of vehicles in a comfortable and climate-controlled environment for an enjoyable touring experience. To maintain a more intimate atmosphere on our public tours, we intentionally limit the capacity of our tour buses to keep the average group size small.
We do our best to keep large, same-party groups together on the same bus, but please keep in mind that the seating is assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Once you claim your seats – they’re reserved only for you for the duration of the tour.
Our small-capacity tour buses can accommodate foldable wheelchairs and foldable baby strollers. For those with full-size baby strollers and carry-on luggage, we recommend storing them at your hotel or utilizing a professional storage service to ensure your tour experience is as smooth and comfortable as possible. However, if you or a member of your party uses a full-size wheelchair that requires a ramp, we kindly ask you to contact us directly. We’re more than happy to plan arrangements to accommodate your mobility needs.
Tips are not included in the tour ticket price. We do ask that you consider tipping your tour guide and driver and that you had a great time with them. The standard tipping rate is 15%, or $10 – $15 per individual.
Our company policy prohibits animals onboard our vehicles, however, we will accept without charge a Service Animal required to assist a person with a disability. Before admitting customers with Service Animals onboard any of our vehicles please call out in advance for accommodation.
Kids 12 and under receive New York Luxury Travel Tour’s discounted children’s price (varies with tours). Children under 3 years old ride for free, if they can be held in their parents’ lap during the tour. If you would rather have a separate seat for your infant, you may purchase a child’s discounted ticket. Please note, however, that strollers may not fit on our vehicles unless they are collapsible and can be reduced to the space underneath a seat.
Your tour guide will tell you the planned amount of time for each stop. It’s typically between 10 to 20 minutes. Each tour has been well thought out and planned for enough time to learn some interesting history, take plenty of pictures, and take advantage of bathroom breaks!
Unless otherwise noted, a public tour does not automatically include additional tickets to attractions or museums
